Southern Oregon University

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Southern Oregon University (OLLI at SOU) is a success in large part due to the dedication and hard work of our instructors, all of whom are volunteers. OLLI instructors are not paid to teach; however, they are acknowledged each year at an Instructors’ Reception, and they also receive a credit voucher based on the course sessions they teach.

The credit voucher is good toward an OLLI membership or a purchase at the SOU Bookstore, depending upon whether or not the instructor is an OLLI member.

man studyingInstructors have an opportunity to waive all or a part of their credits ($5 per session taught, max of $125 per academic year), thereby contributing to the OLLI Annual Fund. The OLLI Program Manager sends out credit vouchers along with a personalized letter of thanks at the end of each school year.
