Medford Community Lectures
OLLI provides its members and the community with monthly community lectures when classes are in session. These programs are held in Room 321 of the RCC-SOU Higher Education Center at 101 S. Bartlett Street (elevator access available). Admittance for these programs is free, but pre-registration is suggested. OLLI invites lecture proposals from prospective lecturers. Recent topics from OLLI's public education series have included “Flashpoints: Justice, Reconciliation and Community”, “The Healthcare Act Goes to the Supreme Court”, and “American Media in the Digital Age: Seismic Shifts & Implications”, and "We're All Globalized Now." The latter three programs can be viewed in their entirety on a site managed by RVTV by clicking on the program titles.
Note: One or more of the OLLI public educational programs may present one view of a matter of public debate. Views expressed by the speakers are not necessarily those of OLLI or Southern Oregon University.
