This Equity Diversity & Inclusion: Gender, Indigeneity, & Sexuality micro-credential prepares students to communicate effectively across difference, understand how structural and systemic barriers and inequitable processes and practices are created, and thrive in an increasingly diverse world. Courses for this badge address areas of social, cultural, and political difference including race, ethnicity, Indigeneity, gender, sexuality, disability, class, and nationality. Students will gain knowledge and skills to work toward building a more equitable world.

NAS 201: Introduction to Native American Studies
GSWS 201: Introduction to Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies
NAS 301: Tribal Critical Race Theory
GSWS 300: Explorations in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies

Additional Requirements

Students will be required to earn a minimum of a C- in all courses taken in advancement of the micro-credential.
