Returning and Non-Admitted Students
Formerly Admitted Students returning to SOU:
Formerly admitted students who are returning to SOU do not need to apply for readmission. You are eligible to register for classes via SISWeb or at the Enrollment Services Center on campus. Check the academic calendar to see when registration is available for the term you wish to return.
Students Who Wish to Apply for Non-Admitted Status
Applying to SOU for Non-Admitted Status is a great way to introduce yourself to academic life if you've been away from school for some time or aren't sure if college is the direction you want to go in. Non-Admitted Students can enroll in classes up to a limit of 8 credits, but will not earn a degree and are not eligible for Financial Aid. If you decide to pursue Admission to SOU at a later date, your coursework is counted toward the degree you want to get.
