SOU Comes To You!
Portland Program:
- SOU Comes to You is a program help in the Portland Metropolitan area each fall term
- Prospective students and their parents are invited to an information evening on what SOU has to offer
- Discussion includes admission requirements, academics, housing, financial aid, and campus life
- An alumni panel speaks about their SOU experiences and resulting success
- A current student panel speaks about what it's like to be an SOU student and why they chose SOU
- Faculty members give brief presentations about their departments/schools and about SOU academics in general
- Locations may be expanded beyond Portland in the future
Rogue Community College (Grants Pass) Program:
- Similar to the Portland program, the RCC program takes SOU "on the road" to RCC each spring term
- Instead of presentations, faculty/staff assistance is needed to staff informational tables at the event
