Financial Aid (2:00pm- 3:00pm)
This presentation will discuss the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other available aid programs. Financial Aid staff will review the awarding process and timeline and answer questions in an open forum. (also available Saturday)
Residence Hall Tours (3:00pm, 3:30pm, and 4:00pm)
Take a tour of the Greensprings complex led by SOU Resident Assistants. Also, learn more about the brand new North Campus Village complex.
Connect with administrators, deans, and faculty. Refreshments will be provided.
Student Session (4:45pm)
This fast-paced session will kick off your time at SOU – prizes will be awarded! Students will depart from the welcome session for dinner in the Cascade Food Court with current SOU students.
Dinner (open until 7:00pm)
Enjoy dinner in the Cascade Dining Hall with the company of SOU faculty and administrators.
Student Evening Activities
Participate in various activities led by current SOU students.

Welcome and Opening Session (9:30am-10:30am)
Administrators will provide an overview of the program and the opportunities at SOU. A student panel will answer many of your questions.
Academic and Information Fair (10:30am-11:30am)
Explore academic programs, student services, campus resources, organizations and more!
Faculty Presentations/ Classroom Sessions (11:30am-12:30pm)
Professors from various departments will present a favorite lecture.
Lunch (Beginning at 12:30pm)
Enjoy a buffet lunch in the Stevenson Union.
Campus and Residence Hall Tours (every 15 min from 12:45pm-1:45pm)
Explore campus facilities and Greensprings/North Campus Village residence hall complexes. Family Housing’s Old Mill Village (Wightman Street) is open for drop-in tours.
Student Involvement and Leadership (1:15pm-1:45pm)
Discover the exciting opportunities and resources available at SOU. Hear about support, activities, and events sponsored by our various campus organizations.
