Welcome to SOU
Each year, Southern Oregon University hosts preview events such as Preview Days, Preview Weekends and Transfer Days that offer prospective students and their supporters an in-depth campus experience. In addition, the Office of Admissions offers a variety of resources to learn more about SOU and the admissions process. Information sessions and campus tours are held daily. Visitors also have the option to meet one-on-one with an Admissions Counselor, sit in on a class, and/or meet with a faculty member.
Interview with an Admissions Counselor
An informal visit with an Admissions Counselor can help you answer those tougher questions relating to the application and admission process, the financial aid process and academic departments.
Tour Campus
Directed by enthusiastic undergraduate students, our campus tours are a popular and fun introduction to SOU's campus, classrooms and facilities.
Sit in on a Class
With over 100 areas of study, there's bound to be a class on the schedule or in the catalog that interests you.
Speak with a Faculty Member
If you are interested in a specific discipline, we can help schedule a department meeting with a faculty member from your area of interest.
Other Campus Programs
Preview Days, Preview Weekends and Transfer Days are offered on select days throughout the academic year.
