Southern Oregon University welcomes the men and women who have served our country as part of our armed forces.

Veterans Services is located in Academic Support Programs, bottom floor of the Stevenson Union.  We can be reached at 541-552-7102 or veteransservices@sou.edu.   We assist military veterans and their dependents who are eligible for VA educational benefits.  Academic Support Programs is committed to serving you with all the tools and services necessary in making your transition as smooth as possible from your military life to that of a student on our campus.

The Veterans Certifying Official is responsible for certifying and monitoring veterans' enrollment, academic progress, and other academic information. 

This website contains the essential information designed for veterans to be successful at Southern Oregon University, including GI Bill Benefits and the procedure needed to be able to use them. We have also included other important links that may be helpful with your veteran benefits.
