This program is oriented toward people working, or aspiring to work, as managers in commercial, government, health care or nonprofit organizations. Admission to the program is based on criteria that best predict success within these career tracks.
Admissions requirements include:
- At least three years of increasingly responsible experience working full-time at the management level. Criteria considered include the number of people supervised, the size of the budget administered, and the degree of decision-making autonomy.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field of study.
- Appropriate communication skills.
An admissions committee of senior administrators and core faculty reviews program applications. Evaluation is based on information provided in the program application form, three letters of reference, official transcripts, a written 400-word statement of purpose, and other relevant materials. There are no entrance examinations required for applicants who meet the experience requirement. A GRE or GMAT score may be substituted for work experience, at the discretion of the admissions committee.
