Join us in welcoming Robert I. Price, PhD as he presents:
The Singularity from a Particle Physics Perspective

Dr Price will discuss The Singularity, a term used by the mathematician John von Neumann to describe the inevitable rise of machine intelligence.

Robert I. Price (RIP) received a PhD in Physics from Arizona State University. For six decades, he has studied the tiniest objects in the universe as they define our very existence. Recently retired from thirty-five years of teaching at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, he hopes to continue teaching and studying for a few more decades.

When: Friday, February 9th, 3:30 – 5:00 pm

Where: Science Auditorium, room 151

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided by the STEM Division.
