Distance Learning
Southern Oregon University is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges & Universities. SOU reaches out to serve the northern California and southwestern Oregon region by delivering degrees through Distance Learning technologies.
SOU offers several Bachelor's degree completion programs online. These programs are designed to offer the working or place-bound adult the option of completing a degree they may have begun years ago. Students are expected to have completed the first two years of college prior to entering the online program. But, we are prepared to assist students as they look for the necessary classes from their local community college or online.
Through the School of Education, the Bachelor's in Early Childhood Development and Master's of Education (MEd) is available online and through two-way video to downlink sites in southwestern Oregon.
