Ford Family Foundation Scholarship Programs
The Ford Family Foundation Scholarship Programs offer a suite of college scholarships in Oregon and Siskiyou County, California. to help students complete higher education. We encourage applicants whose past and present potential are worthy of special support and developoment. Apply on line through the Oregon Student Access Commission (OSAC) at www.OregonStudentAid.gov. To qualify for the need-based scholarships, applicants must submit a FAFSA by March 1, 2014 at www.FAFSA.ed.gov. Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada Scholarship Programs
The GFOA of the United States and Canada, which serves government finance professionals throughout those countries, announces the Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship and the Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship.
The Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship is one scholarship for $6000 available for award in 2014.
The Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship is two scholarships of $6000 each available for award in 2014.
Candidates for these scholarships should have a superior record of academic achievement and/or job performance and show promise of completion of their studies at a high level of performance. In addition, candidates should have plans to pursue a career in state or local government finance. Available to undergraduates at upper division level and graduate level students.

Medford Masonic Lodge #103
Medford Masonic Lodge #103 has a scholarship program available to current and former students of the Central Point and Medford School Districts, as well as private high schools operating within these districts. This program is also available for students attending Rogue Community College and Southern Oregon University. The Lodge can award single scholarships up to $1,000, and previous recipients of a scholarship may apply in subsequent years. Information on the program is available at medfordlodge103.org by clicking on Scholarship Program on the left hand side of the page. Questions regarding the program may be directed to Howard Leachman, Lodge Secretary, at 541-772-2541, Monday, Wednesday or Fridays each week.

Oregon Association of Broadcasters Foundation Scholarships
The Oregon Association of Broadcasters Foundation will award a minimum of three $3,500 scholarships and two $2,500 scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic school year. Applicants must be Oregon residents and studying journalism or any subject that can be used in the day-to-day operation of a broadcast Radio or Television station. Students studying Broadcast Journalism, and those who have had on-the-job training or internships in broadcasting will receive preference in the selection process.

Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police
Amount: $1,000 (17 scholarships available)
The OACP scholarships are available to Sophomores and higher with a minimum 2.5 GPA who are criminal justice majors with a demonstrated desire to work in criminal justice or law enforcement. The application requires a cover letter of recommendation from the criminal justice program director, a criminal justice instructor or a financial aid department representative, as well as a signature from your local police chief on the application form indicating that you are recommended to receive scholarship funds. Oregon Lottery Graduate Scholarships
Amount: Varies due to available funds
Oregon Lottery Graduate Scholarships are available to graduate students showing academic merit and financial need. Applicants must complete the Oregon Lottery Graduate Scholarship application and any additional materials required by specific academic programs.

Oregon PTA's Teacher Education Scholarship
Amount: $500 for high school seniors or college students who are Oregon residents, and want to teach in Oregon at an elementary or secondary school. The scholarship is a non-renewable $500 merit award; however, winners may reapply subsequent years. Last year they awarded nine scholarships.

Oregon Student Access Commission Scholarships
Start your search today. One easy application for more than $15 million in scholarship awards is available from the Oregon Student Access Commission (OSAC). Apply at: www.OregonStudentAid.gov.
Early Bird Deadline: February 15, 2014 at 5pm PST to be eligible for a drawing to win a $500 OSAC scholarship.

Ousley Educational Scholarship Fund: The Amy Heryford Ousley and James Heryford Ousley Educational Fund Scholarship for 2014-2015
Candidates for these scholarships must have attended a high school in Klamath County all four years, and along with their parents or guardians, must have been residents of Klamath County during those four years and be current residents of Klamath County as of July 1st of the year in which the student is applying for a scholarship. Students who graduate in less than 4 years and obtain a GED certificate are also eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students must have a good scholastic record, including standardized test scores to indicate the probability of continued academic success, and lastly, must have a need for financial assistance. Portland Chapter CFMA Scholarships
The Portland Chapter of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) professional organization includes representatives from construction firms, Certified Public Accountant firms, insurance firms and various construction-related partners within the Portland Metro area. Our mission is to provide educational resources and networking opportunities to these members.
Since 1999, the Portland Chapter of the CFMA has provided scholarships to deserving students wishing to pursue careers in construction, accounting, or finance. Student of the Arts Scholarship
The Student of the Arts Scholarship is open to students majoring in any of the "fine arts" or creative studies, such as: Painting, Graphic Design, Music, Creative Writing, Drawing, Interior Design, Architecture, Film, etc. The purpose is to encourage students to take their artistic ability to the "next level" and build a successful business around it. Submit a 500-1000 word essay outlining their creative approach at turning their artistic skills into a successful business. Those who present a valid plan and seem to express the most passion will be considered, and the winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship. WyzAnt College Scholarships
Students may compete for $15,000 in total scholarships, based on essay submissions answering the question,"If you could teach everyone in the world one thing, what would it be?" Twenty finalists will be selected, with three students winning prizes. Using email and social media, students can reach out to friends and family to get votes for their essay. Finalists will be determined by popular vote!
Eligibility: The contest is open to any student planning to be enrolled in a four-year college between August 2014 and November 2016.
Prizes: Three scholarships will be awarded. First place is worth $10,000, second place $3,000 and third place $2,000.
