Payment Options

Online

Use a checking/savings account, MasterCard, or VISA. There is no fee for using a checking/savings account or credit card as payment.

Students: use MySOU for electronic checking or savings payments and credit card payments.

  1. Click on the "Student SISWeb" tab
  2. Click on the credit card icon located in the My Account channel*
  3. Click on the make payment link at the top of the page.
  4. You may select credit card or electronic check at the checkout page.

*The icon only appears if the balance is greater than $0.00.  To make a payment on a zero balance account, you may use the Banner Self-Service (SISWeb) channel.  The Make a Payment link is located on the Student Account menu.

Former Students or Students without MySOU account: use the Banner Self-Service (SISWeb) system for electronic checking or savings payments and credit card payments.

Friends and Family: use the CashNet® system for electronic checking or savings payments and credit card payments. Students must make arrangements for friends or family to use this service and set up access in CashNet® before you can make payments to the student account.

By Mail

Mail payments to SOU ESC, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland, OR 97520. Payments by check or money order must be made out to SOU. Please do not send cash. Enclose the remittance copy of the bill to ensure proper credit and write the student ID number on the check or money order.

Pay in person with the Enrollment Services Center associates in Britt Hall, Monday through Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday, 10am to 5pm.

Friends and Family

Friends and family members can use the CashNet® system for electronic checking/savings payments and credit card payments. Because the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, as amended, prevents Southern Oregon University from discussing a student's account with anyone except the student (unless written consent is on file), students must make arrangements for friends or family to use this service and set up access in CashNet® before you can make payments to the student account. If you have questions regarding FERPA, contact Enrollment Services at 541-552-6600.

For more information about SOU policies on payment schedules, late fees, withdrawal/fee refunds, appeals and tuition costs visit payment policies. All payments are made in U.S. dollars.
