For Residential Halls and Family Housing
Our Mission: The Housing Services Maintenance Department provides facilities maintenance and custodial support to the SOU Residence Halls and facilities maintenance to the Family Housing Department. In providing these 24 hr services we offer a consistently safe, clean and functional living environment.
Our Maintenance Department serves all Residential Complexes (including Cascade, Susanne Homes, Greensprings, Madrone Apartments) and Family Housing Facilities. Our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) enables prompt recognition and response to both maintenance and custodial needs. In order to promptly serve you, please submit Maintenance Requests to report any maintenance or custodial services needed.
Please remember that by submitting a work order, you are giving us permission to enter your room or apartment to correct the problem.
There are three ways to report a maintenance or custodial problem:
- Contact your Residential Hall Director or Assistant
- Submit a request online at Maintenance Requests --

In the event of an after hours emergency, such as water or steam line break, window break, electrical short or power outage, please contact your Area Coordinator or Resident Manager immediately:
