Choosing a residence hall to fit your unique lifestyle...

The residence halls at Southern Oregon University are smoke and incense free and designed to be comfortable and friendly. There are four residence hall residence hall options on campus: Greensprings, Madrone, McLoughlin, and Shasta.

Greensprings was built in the 1970's and has four halls: Applegate, Bear Creek, Crater Lake, and Deschutes. The four halls are centered around a large lounge. The laundry facilities are centralized for the entire complex on the first floor. The main housing office is also located on the first floor of Greensprings as well as all mailboxes.

Madrone Hall exterior signMadrone

The Madrone Apartments are for students who have completed 45 or more credit hours, or are 21 or older. The facility is a 24 hour quiet complex.

McLoughlin Hall exteriorMcLoughlin

SOU broke ground on Raider Village in April 2012 and offically opened the fall of 2013. McLoughlin Hall features a suite design with both single and double rooms available. It is available only to upper-class students.

Shasta Hall exteriorShasta

Shasta Hall is part of Raider Village and features a semi-suite design with both single and double rooms available. Freshmen are eligible to live within Shasta Hall.
