You do not need to be an OLLI member to browse course offerings, but only those who have paid the OLLI membership fee can register for courses.

Overview of OLLI Course Sign Up
Priority Registration: Although there are many courses to choose from each quarter, demand sometimes exceeds the available space. In the interest of fairness, OLLI at SOU holds a Priority Registration period during which members can request up to six courses, and the timing for submitting requests will not affect the chances of being admitted. Requests are processed via a computerized lottery all at once on the day after the deadline. For Spring 2014 the Priority Registration period is March 5 to March 19. Open Registration: Once the Priority course selection process has ended, members are notified of the courses in which they have been enrolled, and then can add an unlimited number of other courses on a “first-come, first-served” basis. For Spring 2014, Open Registration starts March 25.
TIP: Take travel time into consideration when selecting courses in different campus locations.
Course Registration Process
Register Online: First, click “Sign In” above and follow the instructions. After signing in, you will be taken to the “Catalog.” Please follow the directions on that screen to pay 2013-2014 tuition and request courses. The OLLI office will provide assistance, if needed.
Dropping Courses: All course withdrawals are handled by the OLLI office; they cannot be done online. It is very important to notify the office as soon as you determine that you will not be attending a course you’ve selected, either during the Priority Registration period or thereafter. This will provide space for another member and let the instructor know the quantity of course materials needed. Drop notices via email to firstname.lastname@example.org are the preferred method of informing the office, but you may also notify the office by mail or phone.
