Fall Registration for New Students

Assessment and Disabilities

Assessment
Depending on your previous work, you may be required to take assessment tests to help us advise you for your fall schedule. There are 3 assesments:

  1. Math: Placement exams will be administered during Raider Orientation Registration. Determination on whether you will be required to take the exam will be based on information we currently have on file, your transfer level, and your academic interest.
  2. Language: Placement exams are administered online prior to Raider Orientation Registration. Determination on whether you should take the exam will be based on your prior experience with a second language, your chosen type of degree, and your academic interest. To view specific major information or for more information on degree types visit our catalog. All students are encouraged to continue studies in a second language. This online assesment should be completed before attending Raider Orientation Registration.
  3. Writing: Information about the writing assessment is forthcoming.
