Gender Sexuality Union's mission is to provide a safe space for support, activism, education, and sensitization within GLBTTTQQIA community.





We work to diminish prejudice, discrimination, violence, and oppression through activism and education, both on campus and statewide. The GSU also provides on campus education through residence halls and classroom panel discussions.





The members of GSU wish to provide a safe environment where the rights, dignity, and worth of every individual are respected. We will be here as a resource and support network for those who need us.





We welcome everyone and do not assume that any person affiliated with the GSU falls under any of the specific labels of gay, bisexual, lesbian or trans. All members of GSU are individuals and should be thought of as such. We need and encourage the support of everyone.

The Inter-Club Council is an organization made up of representatives from each of the registered clubs on campus. It is a place for student leaders to meet, work together, and to share knowledge. Its primary mission is to promote student clubs on campus.

To bring together students partaking different academic studies and share the knowledge we are gaining in our different fields. This club provides an opportunity for students to learn about subjects they don't have time to take, but are interested in. This club also provides an outstanding opportunity for students who have not chosen their major to be exposed to the work of other students in differing fields. learning will not be limited to schoolwork. We will discuss international opportunities, and bring in outside materials that interest the group. This group will be responsible for coordinating an occasional event open to the public.

We spread awareness of the child soldiers caught up in the war in Uganda, Africa. We educate our community on what has happened and what is currently happening. We provide opportunities to get involved in the world-wide organization, Invisible Children. We raise and send money each year that goes directly to building a school in northern Uganda.

Lutheran Student Association (LSA) intends to provide Christians (Lutheran and other interested Christians) the opportunity to engage in faith-based activities on the campus. We intend to respectfully welcome the person who is investigating matters of the christian faith.

LSA intends to work toward interfacing with other Christian organization on the campus. LSA intends to positively interact with other campus clubs and organizations whenever possible. LSA intends to provide service and educational opportunities for the benefit of club members, and when appropriate, with the campus population in general.

In addition to uniting students who are interested in psychology, the purpose of the Psi Chi Chapter is to bridge the gap between students and faculty as well as students and the community. The chapter provides students with hands-on experience in various aspects of the field of psychology through the use of guest speakers, study groups, and field trips. Research grants and scholarships are available for those who qualify.

The Siskiyou has two main goals when it comes to reporting news. First, we present students the events and issues of the Southern Oregon University campus, through news, features, profiles and sports events, as well as, the Ashland community, in an unbiased manner. Second, we provide hands-on learning opportunities for students of any major who wish to learn and develop their skills in the field of communication, journalism and media arts. Along with covering campus news, many community events and places of interest are covered when they apply to students' interest or concern.
