Advanced Southern Credit: earn college credit from select classes taught at your high school

Cesar Chavez Conference: The goal of the day-long César E. Chávez Leadership Conference is to increase Latino high school students’ preparation to become leaders and develop their knowledge about contemporary issues within the Latino community. In addition, the conference strongly encourages Latino youth to pursue educational opportunities beyond high school.

Early Entry: attend classes at SOU and earn college credit while still in high school.

Summer Programs

Summer classes: For K-12th grade students - A large variety of summer enrichment programs, camps, and field trips

Summer Early Entry: An exciting opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to enroll up to 12 credits in our lower division 100 and 200 level courses. REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE NOW FOR SUMMER.

College Prep Institute: For 10th-12th grad students - Includes SAT trest prep, college essay writing, finding the right college for you, plus special parent night to learn about scholarships and financial aid

Summer Residential Programs

ACADEMY Junior Counselor Leadership Program - For 10th-12th grade students - Become part of the staff, learn leadership skills and earn community service hours.

Academia Latina Junior Counselor Leadership Program - For 11th-12th grade students - Become part of the staff, learn leadership skills and earn community service hours.

Konaway Nika Tillicum - Residential program for Native American students grades 6-12.

Young Artists Institute - Students receive first-class instruction by professional artists in creative writing and/or fine arts through intensive hands-on opportunities.
