itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock dig-30'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Southern Oregon University\u2019s corps of cadets is comprised of students, athletes, and leaders in the community. Cadets are involved in a wide variety of the university\u2019s academic majors. Cadets are also involved in collegiate level sports such as, football, wrestling, track, and cheerleading. Physical training focuses heavily on cardiovascular endurance along with muscular endurance of both the upper and lower body. Cadets are pushed physically in order to pass APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test) standards expected of their age group.
