Student!<\/h2>\n<p>Workday Student streamlines students\u2019 academic experience, integrating key functions in one up-to-date system. Academic planning, registration, grades, transcripts, financial aid and student financial information will all be managed in Workday beginning this fall.<\/p>\n<p>IMPORTANT: We will continue to use Banner Self-Service for any student-related processes for winter, spring and summer terms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grades for winter, spring and summer will be entered in Banner.<\/li>\n<li>Class registration for spring and summer will continue to be managed in Banner.<\/li>\n<li>Tuition and fee payments for spring and summer will continue to be made in Banner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of those processes will be shifted to Workday in the fall.<\/p>\n<p>Students will begin orientation in early April, in preparation for fall advising and registration. All students will be asked to complete an onboarding process that will ensure that their personal information is correctly recorded in Workday. Step-by-step guides and videos will be available to help students get familiar with the new system.<\/p>\n<h3>What to expect<\/h3>\n<p>Students, faculty and staff who recently \u201ctest drove\u201d the system found that it was generally easy to navigate and allowed students greater scope in managing their academic experience.<\/p>\n<p>Your academic records will not be complete\u2014don&#8217;t panic! We will continue to import information into Workday throughout spring and summer terms and our current system will remain available to us until June 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The new system won\u2019t be perfect. Despite extensive testing and the best efforts of an incredibly dedicated team, a system change of this magnitude will need to be fine-tuned as we get underway. Some processes and data will be added over time as testing is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Dedicated support teams are available to assist students, and while not every concern can be resolved immediately, please know that any problems will be addressed as quickly and thoughtfully as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone&#8217;s patience and feedback will be key to making this change successful.
