itemprop=\"text\" ><p><span class=\"heavy-man\">Diploma Name<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 Diploma names are based on the information provided on the degree application. Name changes must be submitted to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:graduation@sou.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">graduation@sou.edu<\/a>\u00a0in order to update your degree application information. You may submit an\u00a0<a href=\"\/student-services\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/03\/SOU-Name-Change-Form-2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Affidavit of Name Change<\/a>\u00a0prior to awarding. Any changes made after awarding will not prompt a new diploma; however, you may order one online for a fee.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"heavy-man\">Degree Information<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 Degree type and major(s) will be listed on diplomas. Minors and concentrations will not be included on the diploma. Double majors leading to the same degree type will be awarded as one degree\/diploma. Dual degrees (any non-duplicative combination of BA\/BS\/etc) will be awarded as two degrees\/diplomas.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"heavy-man\">Mailing<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 Diplomas will be ordered and mailed approximately two weeks after degree awarding and will be sent to the diploma mailing address provided on the degree application. Parchment will then issue your diploma in another 7-10 business days.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"heavy-man\">For diploma reissues, you have two options:<\/span><br \/>\n1.
