As SOU makes the transition to Workday Student, faculty and staff will have multiple opportunities to develop the skills needed to navigate the new system effectively. We encourage all faculty and staff to take advantage of the tools and sessions provided to ensure a smooth transition to Workday Student. Sign up for a live session (March 12-April 2). Look for announcements about upcoming resources to help you get up and running in the new system.

The development of support for learning Workday Student has been further informed by the results of two key review phases:
Faculty and staff had opportunities to engage with Workday Student in a structured environment, providing direct feedback on workflows and clarity of learning aids in a User Readiness Review process in January. Insights gained from URR have helped us refine our support resources and identified areas where additional information was needed.
This review cycle simulated real-world academic scenarios, allowing end users to practice using Workday Student in a controlled environment before full implementation. Lessons learned during the Mock Term have been incorporated into our resource materials to ensure all users—students, faculty and staff—are fully prepared to register students for Fall term 2026 and for the full conversion to Workday Student in September 2026.
