Campus Advisory Groups
Campus groups have been assembled to help the project team shape communication, engagement, and training surrounding the Student Workday project. A cross-section of staff — “CISR Connect” — and a faculty advisory group began meeting during Winter term to learn about pending changes and have already offered invaluable feedback. Besides offering feedback to the project team, participants have been asked to share critical information about the CISR project with their colleagues. Students will be involved as well as we approach our initial implementation Spring 2026 (see project timelines for more information). Advisory groups are convened by Angelyn Pratchios Gay, Change Management Lead.
Members of CISR Connect include Jeff Anderson, Heather Brock, Monica Camargo, Gordon Carrier, Kim DeSimone, Susan Dyssegard, Leandra Figueroa-Pagan, Robert Gibson, Beth Glosner, Heather Inghram, Rod Kuykendall, Alana Lardizabal, Deborah Lovern, Josh Lovern, Clinton Lytle, Colleeen Martin Low, Aubrey Owens, Moneeka Settles, Stacy Shaver, John Stevenson, Sage TeBeest, and Russell Zook.
Faculty participating in the Faculty Advisory Group include Melissa Anderson, Daniel DeFreez, Brian Fedorek, Danielle Hammer, Laura Jessup, Rachel Jochem, Rene Ordonez, Michael Paddack, Erik Palmer, Michael Parker, Jessica Piekielek, Vicki Purslow, Dennis Slattery, Ryan Weatherwax, and Jacob Youngblood.
Sneak Peeks
Workday Teams
The CISR Project team is split into several “workstreams” focusing on specific elements of Workday Student. These groups meet with consultants from Alchemy, our implementation partner, at least twice each week: once for a testing session and again for knowledge sharing to ensure that we’ll be able to manage Workday independently following our implementation. The workstreams include:
- Academic Foundations — Academic calendars, programs of study, registration policies
- Change Management — Communication, training
- Curriculum & Advising — Program requirements, prerequisites, program plans, overrides
- Data Conversion — Data extraction from Banner
- Financial Aid — Aid packing and disbursement, scholarships, reporting
- Integrations — Coordination of data inbound and outbound from related platforms
- Recruiting & Admissions — Application processing, admissions, youth programs
- Reporting — Internal reports, documentation
- Security — Permission to view or modify specific Workday elements
- Student Financials — Payments, refunds, collections, reporting
- Student Records — Policies, plans of study, waitlists, transcripts
- Testing — Verification of all Workday functionality
