Learn More About Theatre at SOU
“I regard my time at SOU as the most formative years of my life. The theatre department was not only my home base, it was my sanctuary. A safe place to take risks, hone my craft, and build lasting friendships that I cherish still to this day.”
“The MoTS program gave me a wealth of knowledge in the technical world of theatre that has been immediately applicable in helping my theatre students learn more, bringing our high school productions to the next level.”
“I went into SOU unsure of my abilities to handle a career as a professional actor. I left with confidence, a sense of self, and a resume that most 22-year-olds would be lucky to have. I made lifelong friendships as well as a huge network of passionate theatre artists.”
“The Southern Oregon University Theatre program brought me the classes I needed to learn my craft, and gave me the mentors to whom I owe my success. The lessons I learned there will forever be the building blocks of my career.”
