Certificate in Musical Theatre

The Certificate in Musical Theatre develops proficiency in the three major disciplines of musical theatre – singing, acting, and dance. Through dedicated courses in all areas of the craft, students hone their performance technique, preparing them to shine in an ensemble or take on a leading role. All students benefit from a series of rigorous courses, learning and applying complementary skills as they build towards proficiency. The certificate culminates in a Workshop Performance of a musical for public audiences. SOU’s Musical Theatre courses are taught by faculty and professional artists in the industry.
