Music Education Pedagogy
Offered as an Academic Micro-Credential
The Music Education Pedagogy micro-credential will prepare participants to be effective music teachers, particularly, of culturally diverse students. Learners will explore music education theories and research in the fields of music, gender, race, class, and sexuality as each informs contemporary music pedagogy. The microcredential provides a specialized research-based education for post-baccalaureate learners and may be completed in just three quarters.

The minimum grade requirement is a 3.0 for each course. Students will be required to create a culminating project: an annotated bibliography and research poster for presentation at a conference.
