Who is Dr. Rosenberg?
Dr. Jordy Rosenberg is a professor at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. His first novel, Confessions of the Fox, features a trans protagonist in the 18th century who must balance his revelations of gender, desire, and liberation. His story is countered with that of a trans narrator in our current day who becomes transfixed with this hero’s story and seeks to share it before it is taken away from him. Dr. Rosenberg’s first novel has already been met with critical acclaim and was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award and a Publishing Triangle Award. Having received praise from such institutions as the New York Times and Huffington Post, Confessions of the Fox has already made a name for itself as one of the principal pieces of trans and queer literature in this generation.
