Lithia Park, located in the hub of Downtown Ashland, is a 93-acre vista featuring emerald-green lawns, tennis courts (pickleball), a sand-pit volleyball court, picnic areas, colorful landscaping and playground equipment. Summertime in Ashland brings a wealth of entertaining events to Lithia Park (including popular Park Nature Walks.)
In American Planning Association – Great American Places 2014, Lithia Park was designated as one of the top ten Great American Spaces by the American Planning Association.
The park follows Ashland Creek through undeveloped woodlands and includes an elegant Japanese garden, two duck ponds, a formal rose garden, groves of sycamore trees, and a bandshell for live entertainment. Bountiful hiking trails winding into forested mountains are easily accessible from Lithia Park.
