By completing Southern Oregon University’s 12-credit badge in Network Technology, students develop intermediate skills in the three core toolsets within network technology: Network Foundations, Network Services, and Wireless Networks. A Network Technology badge provides a strong foundation for students interested in securing entry-level employment in network management.

Three courses totaling 12 credits. Start with Networks 1, which is a prerequisite for the other classes.
CS 336: Networks 1 – 4 credits
Follow this by two of the following three courses:
CS 436: Networks 2 – 4 credits
CS 446: Wireless Networks – 4 credits
CS 457: Network Security – 4 credits
Students will be required to earn a minimum of a B- in all courses.
*The Mathematics – Computer Science, BA/BS degree is housed within the Mathematics program website.
