No matter your major, a knowledge of high technology will make your resume stand out to job recruiters. SOU’s minor in Computer Science program provides students with a solid foundation in core Computer Science skills and knowledge (such as programming and problem solving). Computer Science minors are allowed to choose from a full range of upper division classes and electives available to Majors.

Degree Roadmap
Lower division math classes and our introductory Computer Science sequence give students a firm grounding in problem solving and computer programming. Students can then choose upper division courses and electives that focus on areas of interest to them.
