Learn to think critically about the economic issues in your daily life, and develop a commitment to be actively engaged with policy issues in local, national, and global communities.
I chose SOU Economics on the advice of my peers, foregoing other majors because of the versatility and employability of the major. With smaller class sizes, the professors are able to mentor at a more personal level, and I’ve been able to build lasting relationships with my peers.
I found small classes filled with like-minded and equally driven individuals as well as a dedicated base of talented professors who take the time to not only teach their students, but also to equip them with the tools needed for success.
