Make a Report to the Equity Grievance Office
Individuals who choose to report to the University should report to the Equity Grievance Office (and Title IX Coordinator). Individuals are encouraged to submit reports in close proximity to the incident even though reports can be made to the university, confidential staff, and law enforcement at any time. Individuals are encouraged to report using the Discrimination, Harassment & Sexual Misconduct Reporting Form (linked below).
Anonymous reports will be documented, but the Office’s ability to respond to such reports may be limited.
Employees who become aware of a concern involving discrimination, harassment, or sexual misconduct must report that information. The only exception is for employees who have been designated as confidential employees
Talk to a Confidential Resource
Individuals unsure whether they wish to report to the Title IX Coordinator are encouraged to talk to a confidential resource. Confidential resources are not required to disclose Prohibited Conduct to law enforcement or University officials without the disclosing party’s permission, except for extreme circumstances, such as a health or safety emergency or child abuse.
