The Digital Cinema concentration provides students with the benefits of both a traditional film school curriculum and a forward-looking education in visual storytelling and innovation for the 21st century.
The Digital Cinema Minor is useful to students in a variety of fields. This minor emphasizes the hands-on skills of film and television production and the theory, criticism, history and analysis of digital cinema.
Digital Cinema Minors will complete 28 credits in the communication program. This minor involves a core curriculum, as well as electives drawn from the Communication program and other programs across campus.
Some communication minor students will prepare for their intended career through a major degree, while pursuing personal communication interests with a their minor. Other students may pursue a communication minor to provide specific specialization to compliment their major. A communication minor degree may provide the foundation for a very successful career.
