Additional Requirements

Students will be required to earn a minimum of a C- in all courses taken in advancement of the micro-credential.

Learning Outcomes/Competencies

Upon completion of this micro-credential, learners will be able to:

1. Understand and interpret foundational concepts of geography with an emphasis on Southern Oregon.
2. Recognize how earth systems, biological systems, and social systems interact to define community capitals.
3. Develop planning documents for use in municipal and regional decision making.
4. Interpret legal documents, policies, and zoning as a means to community development, land protection, and resource management.
