What if you could return to college and complete your bachelor’s degree in less than two years while working full time? The Innovation and Leadership (INL) degree is a multidisciplinary bachelor’s degree completion program for working professionals. Classes are offered in two models, either through accelerated 5-week courses with class in person, one night a week in Medford, or in 10 weeks fully online delivery. The applied approach to academic content encourages working professionals to move quickly through material and dive deeper into understanding workplace and management challenges. The seventeen courses of the major are offered over a 21 month period and include courses from Business, Communication, Emerging Media and Psychology. The degree reflects the realities of leadership in today’s workplace by offering courses such as Digital Portfolios, Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Management, Group Dynamics, Creative Thinking, Applied Business Research, IT Ethical and Legal Issues and Entrepreneurship in Organizations.

This degree has been absolutely perfectly timed for me in so many ways! I have applied lessons from every class, usually before the class is even over and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon. I look forward to it continuing to grow professionally and personally.

How to Apply
Apply to SOU: Contact the Office of Admissions to pursue steps to gain admission to the University. In your admission application indicate that you want to be in the Innovation & Leadership (INL) program.
Determine whether you want to apply for the online or classroom-based degree.
Online: Fill out the INL Online Application Form.
Classroom: Fill out the INL In-Person Accelerated Application Form, write a short (max 500 words) statement addressing how this program relates to your career goals, and how your prior work and educational experience will contribute to a rich learning environment in the classroom, submit the application, essay, and your resume.
