Spanish SLI Summer Highlights
The Spanish Summer Language Institute had its most successful year yet!
Our students love learning, and our professors work hard to engage them in wide-ranging topics: Gastronomy, Art and Architecture, Action Research, Methods for Teaching, Phonetics, and Advanced Grammar. Highlights included an excursion to the Diego Rivera Museum and Home, our Art and Architecture class and their “scavenger hunt” excursion, as well as the “Relaciones Gastronómicas entre Mexico y Espana” class learning to cook traditional pozole verde, agua de jamaica and pastel de limon.
