Offered as an Academic Micro-Credential
The Conversational Spanish micro-credential offers students the opportunity to develop essential communication skills in Spanish for meaningful real-world purposes. The course structure and communication goals are thematically organized to support students in learning Spanish through immersive activities and hands-on projects, rich input and communicatively purposeful tasks. Students will develop oral, written, and multiliteracy skills, which will prepare them to confidently communicate with different Spanish-speaking audiences outside of the classroom and throughout the Spanish-speaking world. Students will build a portfolio of signature task-based projects, showcasing their developing fluency and communicative skills throughout the course sequence.
