The new Raider Transfer Program (RTP) is a cooperative partnership between SOU and Rogue Community College that simplifies the transfer process for RCC students who intend to transfer to SOU.
Participation in the RTP has many benefits:
- Admission and transfer from RCC to SOU is streamlined and supported by SOU Admissions.
- RCC provides transcripts to SOU at no charge to students, and vice versa when used for a reverse transfer (SOU to RCC).
- RTP students receive early academic advising, including Student Success Coordinator visits to RCC and periodic graduation map updates.
- RTP students may access SOU facilities and programs such as Hannon Library, Career Connections, and athletic games, while enrolled at RCC.
- RTP students who earn an associate degree at RCC (AS, ASOT, AAOT) will enter SOU with junior status or above and their lower-division general education requirements are considered complete.
- Financial Aid transfers from RCC to SOU once a student has fully transferred.
To be eligible for the RTP:
- RCC students should have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 in all associate (AS, ASOT, AAOT) degree* coursework and be in good standing with RCC.
- Students must complete the RTP Intent Form below.
- Students must meet SOU admissions requirements, and submit an application for admission by the application deadline for their desired term of entry.
*Completion of an associate degree at RCC does not guarantee admission to any particular program at SOU.
