What will I do at Preview Day?

PREVIEW DAY: TENTATIVE AGENDA (subject to change)

8am – Check-in and Continental Breakfast

8:45am – Opening Session

9:45am – Break Out to Student Small Group Discussions (Freshman or Transfer) or Friends and Family Panel

10:30am – Academic and Information Fair

11:30am – Faculty Presentations

12:20pm – Lunch at The Hawk

12:45pm – Instagram Selfie Scavenger Hunt Contest Winner Announced at The Hawk

1pm – Application Workshop / Admissions On The Spot

1:15pm – Campus and Residence Hall Tours (departing every 15 minutes from The Hawk)

1:30pm – Supports for Disability and Mental and Physical Health

I can’t attend an in-person event. Do you have a virtual Preview?

Yes! Our Preview On-Demand will virtually introduce you to Southern Oregon University. Learn about the SOU community, academic programs, and student life. We encourage parents and families to participate alongside students!

How can I bring a group to Preview Day?

We are happy to have groups attend our Preview Days. Please notify us at least three weeks prior to the event if you plan to bring five or more students. Our Group Tour Coordinator will be able to assist with sign ups, logistics, and next steps. The Coordinator can be reached at groupvisit@sou.edu.
