Guided Tours
Daily, Monday through Friday
SOU Admissions hosts daily campus tours for students and their families, Monday through Friday (excluding campus holidays and events). Admission Counselors will be available to meet before or after a tour and assist with applications.
Tour times*:
- Monday through Friday, 11 am
- Tours will not be offered on campus holidays.

Sign up for a campus tour on a Friday†, then prepare your application for admission using our Raider On The Spot guidelines. We’ll waive the $60 application fee when you submit your application before or after attending a Friday tour.
* Certain dates are unavailable for tours due to campus closures, Admissions events, and registration events.
† Friday tours may not be available on certain dates, such as Preview Day and summer Raider Social events. However, we will still waive the application fee for students attending these events.
Group Tours
These tours are specifically designed for visiting high school and community college groups.
Request a group tour at least two weeks in advance to allow for proper scheduling.

- Family Groups: Cannot be accommodated as an individual tour. We encourage families to sign up for the daily guided campus tour shown above.
- Middle School Groups: We encourage middle school groups to utilize our self-guided scavenger hunt. To access these documents, please contact groupvisit@sou.edu .
- Groups of 60 or More: Subject to tour guide availability. Please contact groupvisit@sou.edu .
Requests for group tours during quiet week, finals week, previously scheduled on-campus events, breaks, weekends, and holidays cannot be honored. In addition, group tours are subject to Campus Ambassador availability.

SOU believes the best way to experience campus is on one of our guided campus tours. However, if you are on campus outside of one of our scheduled tour times, you can download a self-guided campus tour pdf below.
