Transfer Student Scholarship for Oregon and WUE State Residents
The Raider Scholarship rewards our incoming transfer students with the highest merit.
Award Information
A GPA of 3.85 and above is required to received the transfer Raider Scholar award.
The transfer Raider Scholar Scholarship for 2025-2026 awards scholars as follows:
- Oregon residents: $4,000 per year = $8,000 over two years
- WUE state residents: $3,500 per year = $7,000 over two years
Students must enroll at SOU in the fall term of their freshman year, and be enrolled in at least 12 credits each term in order to receive this award.
To Be Considered
Students should submit the SOU Admissions application by February 1st for priority consideration and submit all required documentation to the Admissions Office at SOU. Upon admission to SOU, students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships.
Scholarship Renewal
The Transfer Raider Scholarship is renewable for up to 6 academic terms (excluding summer) within a two-year period. Renewal awards require a minimum of 2.50 cumulative and term SOU institutional GPA and completion of 12 credits per term / 36 credits per year.
