Housing Options

The residence halls at Southern Oregon University are smoke and incense-free. Our halls are designed to be comfortable and friendly. Please see our information packet for more details.

There are five options on campus for conference housing: Cox Hall, Aspen Hall, Greensprings Complex (Applegate and BearCreek), McLoughlin Hall, and Shasta Hall.

• Cox Hall (Year-Round)
  • Standards: Comes with two twin XL beds, two desks, two desk chairs, built-in closets, communal bathrooms, and showers.
  • Suites: Come with two full-sized beds, in-suite bathroom and shower, microwave, mini fridge, two nightstands, and a round table.
• Applegate (Only Available during spring and summer)
  • Standards rooms only: Comes with two twin XL beds, two desks, two desk chairs, built-in closets, communal bathrooms, and showers.
• Bearcreek (Only Available during spring)
  • Standards rooms only: Comes with two twin XL beds, two desks, two desk chairs, built-in closets, communal bathrooms, and showers.
• McLoughlin Hall (Only available during summer)

Linen Options

All rooms have the options available for guests to either bring their own linens or have SOU provide linen packs.

Linen packs include the following:

• 1 Pillow
• 1 Pillow Case
• 2 Flat Sheets
• 1 Blanket
• 1 Towel

Cox hall suite rooms always include linens.

Dining Options

Our convenient dining options allow you to choose which meals you want daily to match your group’s schedule. In The Hawk Dining Commons, our customers will enjoy a variety of foods created by our dedicated culinary team. The Hawk provides foods for vegans, vegetarians, and meat lovers alike. From home-style classics to ethnic cuisine and healthy entrees, there is sure to be something for everyone. Upon arriving at the dining hall your group will be tallied in by the Dining Staff and will be invoiced for meals at the end of their stay.

We also have The Landing, a convenience store next to The Hawk, that accepts cash or card, which provides snacks and drinks to go.
