The CMHC program provides an academic environment with small classes where faculty members support students’ personal and professional growth.
Students are our priority, a statement we live by, not just something we say. With that in mind, we design our program and class schedule around our students and we select faculty who are student-focused.
Most required classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays only, excluding summer term classes. The two-year class schedule is given to students at the Fall orientation. The CMHC curriculum is designed to help students achieve professional competence in knowledge, skills, and attitudes expressed in the clinical mental health counseling standards that are required by state licensing boards and national accreditation (CACREP).
All CMHC courses are taught face-to-face on the Ashland Campus.
