SOU Clinical Mental Health Counseling Application Information
Application to the 2025 cohort will be available October 31, 2024
The CMHC program accepts 22-24 students every year. A typical year averages 65 applications. The average undergraduate overall GPA is 3.44 with a range of 2.60 to 4.03.
Applicants MUST also complete a separate form on SOU Admissions to become a Southern Oregon University graduate student in addition to the CMHC application.
Priority deadline is February 1 every year. Student acceptance letters are mailed by late March and the cohort will begin classes in the Fall term. Following the priority deadline, there is rolling admissions until we are full.
International students do NOT need to take the GRE. Only the TOEFL test is required for acceptance.
