Every Health Education and Promotion Concentration student will take courses in Biology, Nutrition, and Medical Terminology, as well as gaining education and experience in the Essentials of Strength and Conditioning Training, Exercise Techniques and Implementation Biomechanics, and Nutrition for Training and Performance. The curriculum combines science-based coursework and integrates internship components to a student’s curriculum in order to add a real-world working experience. These opportunities provide a showcase in which the student can demonstrate education and experience gained during undergraduate work. Every Health and Exercise Science major will take a range of courses associated with our core curriculum. To earn a BA or BS in Health and Exercise Science, students must have a GPA in major courses of at least 2.5.
