The Conversational ASL micro-credential offers students the opportunity to develop essential communication skills in American Sign Language for meaningful real-world purposes. The course structure and communication goals are thematically organized to support students in learning ASL through immersive activities. Students will develop ASL proficiency along with a deeper understanding of the deaf community and their cultural perspectives through interactive learning activities.

The Conversational Spanish micro-credential offers students the opportunity to develop essential communication skills in Spanish for meaningful real-world purposes. The course structure and communication goals are thematically organized to support students in learning Spanish through immersive activities and hands-on projects, rich input and communicatively purposeful tasks.

This micro-credential provides a close approximation of Hispanic and Latinx culture in the US. This series of courses examines the histories, cultures, and experiences of Latinx communities in the United States. Learners will develop their oral and written expression in Spanish while exploring the diversity and complexity of Latinx identities, as well as the social, political, and economic forces that have shaped them.

The Spanish for Educators micro-credential prepares students to communicate in Spanish at an advanced level and in contexts relevant to the field of education. Students will come away with the vocabulary and ability to talk and think critically about Spanish language learning and acquisition, and will have a better understanding of both their own language learning experiences and the experiences of others.

The Spanish for Health Care badge/micro-credential is designed to equip current and future professionals in the healthcare industry with the language and intercultural skills necessary to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients.
