The Raider Scholarship rewards our incoming first year students with the highest merit.
A GPA of 3.95 and above is required to receive the Raider Scholar Award.
The Raider Scholar awards recipients as follows
Students must enroll at SOU in the fall term of their first year, and be enrolled in at least 12 credits each term in order to receive this award.
Students should submit the SOU Admissions application by February 1st for priority consideration and submit all required documentation to the Admissions Office at SOU. Upon admission to SOU, students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships.
The Raider Scholar award is renewable for up to 12 academic terms (excluding summer) within a four-year period. Renewal awards require a minimum of 2.50 cumulative and term SOU institutional GPA and completion of 12 credits per term / 36 credits per year.
