Education minors enhance their major degree program with academic and experiential learning opportunities while exploring the field of teacher education.
The 24 credit program consists of three required courses (Ed 251, Ed 252, and Ed 462); 3 credits of practicum experience; and 12 credits of electives (to be determined with the advisor).
Completing the Ed Minor will assist in meeting numerous prerequisites for the Master of Arts in Teaching or Special Education program.
Many students are delighted to find that an Education minor complements their major. An Education degree can enhance a wide range of field specific studies and make a graduate more agile and competitive on the job market.
