What is the North State Promise?
Incoming undergraduate students from California who graduated from a Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, Trinity, or Modoc county high school in 2013 or later are eligible for Oregon Resident tuition rates. No separate application is required!
The North State Promise agreement is sanctioned by Southern Oregon University and College Options, and saves eligible California students over $18,500 per academic year!

* Tuition estimate based on full-time status of 15 credits per term for Fall, Winter, and Spring (45 credits per year) at $209 per credit hour for Oregon residents, $617 per credit hour for non-residents, and $314 per credit hour for WUE residents.
^ Includes mandatory building, incidental, health services, and student recreation center fees.
† Room & board based on Shasta Hall double-occupancy with a Red / Black meal plan.
